AND Don Shull has 21 pieces (wood carvings and whirligigs) in the exhibition Good Sports. Our family was lucky enough to attend the opening. The display will be up through August 2025. Curated By Gage Branda.

Don’s unique garden sculpture radiates beside delicate pink lilies, creating a harmonious blend of art and nature against the weathered wood backdrop of his studio.

An artful blue bottle tree, created by Don, stands tall in the garden, basking in the sunlight amidst lush greenery and clear blue skies.

Looking forward to the Region 2 Summer meeting in Lansing, MI after having a fun time in Nashville. Thanks to all the good people purchasing my daylily tool — my wife and I enjoyed the event very much!

“Don, I propose that you work the word “miracle” into the name of your ingenious little tool. I’m still utterly amazed. I’m moving clumps in mid-winter here and have been using the divider when needed, working not to disturb the plants too much. (Stay asleep, little friends.) The way the mechanism has the hinge-point in precisely the right spot to gently ease the roots apart is a beautiful thing. I love watching those roots separate in ways I could never manage otherwise, with soil attached! Using this tool respects the plants and makes me happy. Thank you for creating this miraculous invention!” – J.H.
