Don, I propose that you work the word “miracle” into the name of your ingenious little tool. I’m still utterly amazed. I’m moving clumps in mid-winter here and have been using the divider when needed, working not to disturb the plants too much. (Stay asleep, little friends.) The way the mechanism has the hinge-point in precisely the right spot to gently ease the roots apart is a beautiful thing. I love watching those roots separate in ways I could never manage otherwise, with soil attached! Using this tool respects the plants and makes me happy. Thank you for creating this miraculous invention!
Thank you! I’ll pass this along to Don. Your testimonial is appreciated!
Works great!! I have recommended this tool to many. Works for dividing hostas too!!
Thank you!
O. M. G. I can’t believe how well my daylily dividers works!!!!! I admit I was skeptical at first. I have heavy clay soil here in Tennessee, and my DL clumps are pretty large. Today I was dividing smallish-sized daylilies and tried the tool for the first time. Following instructions, a little assertive downward action… and like magic, the clumps separate, without even damaging- I kid you not- A SINGLE FAN! I was SHOCKED. Those tines didn’t slice, only pull the fans apart. Don, I will always be a huge fan from now on. Thank you for creating a tool that makes life easier. Worth every penny!
👍🏻Thanks for the testimonial!
I used Don’s Daylily Divider at a garden club plant potting party and it was amazingly easy. I thought at firs that it would be difficult to pull the handles apart but it wasn’t at all. It was a hit at the party. I came home and ordered one immediately! Must have!
I used one the other day for a few hours separating tough Siberian and Species iris, NO SWEAT!
